Born and raised in Los Angeles, I earned a B.A. in Film and Digital Media and a minor in Legal Studies from UC Santa Cruz, and then a J.D. from University of La Verne College of Law. Since 2011, I've exclusively practiced family law litigation. I've appeared in family law courts in the following counties: Los Angeles, Orange, Kern, Ventura, Santa Barbara, San Bernardino, Riverside, Alameda, Contra Costa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, and San Diego. I have a special needs brother and have significant insight into children's special needs. I pride myself of thinking outside the box and keeping up to date with current laws and cases.

"Nick is a first-rate family law attorney. His courtroom skills are excellent (he's given me a run for my money on several different matters in which we were opposing counsel). I often refer cases to Nick when I run into a potential conflict situation. Those clients have always written or called me afterwards to thank me for the excellent referral and to praise Nick for his effective communication, knowledge of the law, and the way he managed their cases to successful conclusions (whether through litigation or mediation)."

My client was awarded a 5-year Domestic Violence Restraining Order against opposing party/mother on 10/31/2016, sole legal and sole physical custody, no visitation to opposing party/mother, and standard no-contact and stay-away orders.
I was able to obtain sole legal and sole physical custody orders of their minor son, legal change to the minor son's last name, adoption by client's husband and termination of biological father's parental rights.
My client was awarded a 3-year domestic violence restraining order against mother, sole legal and physical custody, findings that mother is an abduction risk and not a credible witness, alcohol rehab, therapy, and more.
The parties stipulated to client/mother being awarded sole legal custody and reduced visitation to father.
