Larry Mark Bakman

I retained Larry Bakman to represent me in a restraining order case against my ex-husband. Standing up to my abuser was something I was very afraid to do. I showed Larry the same information and he told me the exact opposite. I was living in fear and Larry told me that the law protects people like me. I do not need to have a bruise on my face to be protected from my abuser. During the process of my case, Larry helped me find the strength to stand up for myself and gave me a voice. Larry vigorously presented my case and went above and beyond as my advocate. My case took three days and in those stressful days, I never had to once worry about Larry showing up late because he was there. Larry was well organized and had a strategy from day one. There were never any surprises because he was always multiple steps ahead. During testimony of some very difficult moments, he gave me courage to keep my head up. Larry knew the facts to my case backwards and forwards. During testimony, Larry was aggressive in his questioning to get to the truth and did not need to refer to notes. Larry’s knowledge of the law was evident by his strong presentation of my case. I will always owe Larry Bakman my life and safety. Larry Bakman was a fair attorney. He didn't charge more than he said he would and he even made deals for me when he could. What I liked about him was he was a tough cross examiner. He doesn't take any crap from anyone. Not from his clients and not from the courts. He would never advise someone to kee...p going in a case if he thought they could not win just to get money. He doesn't need the money that bad and he does quite well for himself. I found he stayed level headed even when I was loosing it. He kept himself in check and protects his clients by keeping them in check. He is professional and knowledgeable about the due processes of law which includes or excludes certain evidence; thereby he does not waste time drawing the case out. He also helped encourage me to be strong while I was in a very dark place. Thank you Larry!

Larry represented me and was extremely deceitful. He had me sign a retainer agreement then forced me to pay him more saying that there was a mistake that he did not understand the magnitude of the case although by law the retainer agreement was already signed stating he was retained for the case he r...efused to show up until I paid him more. Larry is a knowledgable lawyer however he uses his knowledge against his clients rather than for. He represented my boyfriend before and had informed me that we needed to sign a conflict of interest so we did however he shows up to court and conflicts out claiming we never filled it out...he was so bad I didn't even care I would rather never see this man another day in my life. Never hire him regardless of his skill unless you're prepared to have your case used against you to pay him more and for him to throw it if he's not satisfied.
