I am writing this review after my business chapter 11 Sub V case has been resolved successfully. In August of last year, I was desperate and borderline suicidal. I am a 46 year old woman with a successful career but also with a fitness business that is profitable a beloved by our local community. In ...my attempt to grow our business and move it to a new location due to horrendously expensive rent, a greedy landlord who doesn't take care of the building and overall tough industry i am in, i took out debt for a buildout and relocation expenses. Things went really wrong for me as i didn't have enough money to complete my project. I've also made some really bad decisions along the way and want to be honest about it. So in August of last year, i was in complete panic thinking I will have to close down and have 30 employees lose their jobs. So i started calling around asking for legal advise and help. Kathleen March came up in my search results, so i thought that as woman, she would understanding and maybe slightly caring. Oh I was so wrong! Her paralegal was awesome! I don't remember his name, but he was wonderful. Then i talked to the monster herself and the music stopped. This woman didn't even hear me out. She cut me off, told me it would be a chapter 7 bankruptcy. Didn't let me say a word and then finished by saying she didn't want to represent me and hung up. Wowzers. I really wanted to jump off a bridge. I later talked to many other attorneys and found out that this monster had a reputation. She was a bankruptcy judge and was one of the meanest ones. She hater the debtors and believes they don't deserve a second chance. Apparently everyone in the industry knows this. Thank God, I was represented by another attorney (the one with the most reviews on this platform and they are all good - his first name is Michael). I now have this hell behind me. My employees are still employed and we are thriving. Please don't take a no for an answer and keep searching. Sadly, most attorneys suck but there are a few good ones out there. Don't give up!
