I'm the Managing Attorney of the Immigration Law Office of Los Angeles. I have been practicing immigration law for the past 20 years. I focus on business immigration by representing employers and employees with their visa needs (H-1B, O, L-1,TN, E-1 E-2, E-3). I assist my clients with their legal permanent resident applications (PERM/labor certifications, EB-1, EB-2, National Interest Waivers, EB-1 Multinational Executive petitions, and EB-1 individuals with extraordinary ability).
I have advised executives at multi-national corporations with full-service immigration advice and petitions and assisted start-ups to grow and expand rapidly – one of which went IPO. I have 20 years as a strategist for corporations assisting them in implementing solutions for hiring high-tech workers (including assisting with intra-company transfers and EB-1 multi-national executive permanent residency petitions). As part of my service, I coordinate with executives, technical departments, and HR to advise and deliver solutions for multiple corporations.
I have assisted hospitals, nurses, and physicians with their permanent residency and work immigration matters, assisted athletes, business people, scientists, and artists, and assisted students with F-1 visas. I have extensive experience working with HR at small and medium-sized companies with their immigration needs and also provided training and immigration seminars to HR staff.
I also have two decades worth of experience representing high-net-worth individuals/investors with legal permanent residence petitions (EB-5 and I-829 petitions)
In addition, I have represented individuals in hundreds of marriage cases, fiancé visas, K visas, and naturalizations.
I have successfully represented and received approvals on more than 4,000 immigration cases. I received a degree in A. B. in Political Science from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan in December of 1986; graduated with a J. D. from the University of Detroit School of Law in Detroit, Michigan in May of 1990 and I received a degree in L. L. M. in International Business Law from the University of London, England in October of 1991. I am a frequent writer and speaker on immigration law in publications and on radio programs. I have held numerous positions with various local chapters of the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
