There are so many great things to say about Marty Weniz, this review cannot possibly do him justice, but here it goes: A few years ago, at the age of 25, I had sustained a fall while walking along an un-lit deck. In the dark, unbeknownst to me, there was no railing and I fell 5 feet breaking my l...eg. Or so I was told. Months later, after much persistent pain it turned out that the doctor failed to diagnose that I had shattered my heel as well, and that the fracture was so severe, it required immediate surgery at the time of the injury. My hind foot suffered permanent damage, to which I still feel the effects today. Beaten down, but fueled with the desire to seek some justice, I had looked around for attorneys and no one wanted my malpractice case because it wasn’t “serious enough;” did I mention everyone drooled over my personal injury case? That is until I found Marty. He met with me immediately; he told me that he was taking BOTH cases!!! He told me from the get go that this was going to be a process, and that I needed to be patient. Many discoveries, and often stressful depositions later, Marty always made sure I was super prepared for my depositions, and he kept me in the know, step by step. Then, almost like the universe came together to hand us good karma wrapped in a bow, in a matter of months, we got not one, but TWO very large settlements from the malpractice AND personal injury cases. Even Marty was flabbergasted that it happened so quickly and successfully! The point of my little tale is to not only to sing this lawyer's praises for all to read, but to solidify that I truly feel Martin Weniz is just about one of the best attorneys the legal profession has got. And, if that wasn’t awesome enough, he is a kind, empathetic, and courageous man who will fight for what he believes in. In my case, it was my plight! Thank you Marty!

When my family and I experienced a most unexpected and emotionally painful loss which we believed merited legal pursuit, we interviewed several plaintifs' attorneys before choosing to have Marty represent us. We were impressed not only by his knowledge, experience, and professionalism, but by his co...mpassion. We also always felt that he was interested in our case for its relevance to challenges faced in the health care industry as well as its meaning to us personally. Our case took a long time to resolve. Re-experiencing the initial event over and over through the legal process was very hard, but Marty was right beside us to prepare us for each step, and support us through unpleasant things like the discovery process, and arbitration meetings. He always seemed to find time to just hear me "vent" or respond to what might have seemed "dumb" questions to someone with more experience. He understood that for us, our case was much more a matter of principle than monetary gain and represented us accordingly. In the end he helped achieve a settlement that was, I believe, viewed as fair on both sides of the table. While I sincerely hope to never need such services again, I am glad to know that Marty is around, just in case. I consider him still to be a friend.
