Latanya has been a life saver in regards to my child support/custody case. She is very detailed and knowledgeable. She is definitely more concerned with what's right for the client rather than what's right for her pockets. My case was already open and I was one of those that was trying to do it mysel...f and it was taking forever. When Latanya took on my case it was very little time till my next court date. She was very aggressive with getting all the information needed to prepare and even more agressive in the court room. Attorney Sewell gave me advice on how to handle my custody/visitation case. I had no money (unemployed) to hire her but that did not stop her from explaining in detail my options and how each worked in California courts. She recommended I go for a modification of custody as opposed to filing a contem...pt case on my ex and the later is harder to prove and win - even with an attorney - and the outcome is usually much less than expected. Although I wrote up my own paperwork, I was much more confident I was moving in the right direction.

Ms. Sewell was extremely thorough in assisting me with my divorce. She was always respectful and professional with regards to my ex-husband. She insured that my ex-husband and I never got off track during our meetings. Ms. Sewell made sure that we both understood the contents of our documents and ...that we were all in agreement with the divorce settlement.
