Harry Nelson is managing partner of Nelson Hardiman, LLP, a law firm specialized in counseling and representing healthcare providers, life sciences companies, and other businesses with healthcare regulatory needs (including technology and finance/investment concerns) in regulatory and business matters. The firm handles regulatory compliance, transactions, litigation, and government investigations. Although Harry is involved in all aspects of the firm's practice, clients choose him for an encylopaedic knowledge of healthcare licensing, operations and reimbursement, a strategic vision of the current healthcare environment, and a hyper-responsive approach to client needs. Harry brings a proactive approach to healthcare businesses, often structuring transactions and businesses to solve problems that clients had deemed insoluble. Harry also has extensive experience defending government investigations and enforcement actions, and has forged strong relationships with regulators across many healthcare sectors. His practice has extended to counseling healthcare providers in matters related to Medicare and Medi-Cal requirements, Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) regulations, and numerous other state and federal agencies. Harry has successfully represented clients in numerous Medicare and Medi-Cal enrollment, licensing investigations, and recovery audit appeals. He frequently counsels clients on HIPAA compliance. He has developed extensive resources to facilitate compliance, including the development of compliance programs for hundreds of healthcare businesses.

I cannot say enough good things about Harry Nelson and the Fenton Nelson legal group. We came to the firm to get an assessment of our project. I cannot give high enough marks to Harry Nelson. After bad experiences with my previous lawyer, I was referred to Mr. Nelson for a healthcare law problem. He is very smart and knowledgeable about this complex area of law. I would not rely on anyone else for legal advice.
"I endorse this lawyer's work. Harry is smart, responsive and a great guy. Indeed, he has a strong reputation in the LA legal community, and I highly recommend him."
"Harry and I attended law school and undergrad together. Though I am not familiar with health care law, I do know that it would be difficult to find a lawyer who is as smart and conscientious as Harry. He is the kind of person you want to trust with your important matters."
