Whoever wrote those other two reviews could not possibly have used Mr. Bagby as a lawyer. My experience with Mr. Bagby was nothing but professional. Every bit of advice that he gave me was accurate and true. A UCLA graduate, he is the kind of lawyer that you want on your team. He is not only bri...lliant-smart, but he is a kind and compassionate man, who understands that each individuals circumstances are different. He knows that that some cases should be mediated and not tried. He knows that some financial circumstances are more complex than others, and should be handled differently. He cares about your family's well-being. He looks for the most cost-effective and appropriate method for resolution of differences. I highly recommend him as an attorney.

A number of years ago my girlfriend Stacey had had a brake job done on her Isuzu Trooper at Peyton-Cramer Ford in Torrance California. When she picked the car up, the brakes failed completely and she rear-ended a car at an intersection. Peyton Cramer denied any responsibility and refused to pay for a...ny damages. We took them to court and they showed up with 4 of their corporate lawyers and 3 expert witnesses. On our side, we only had Stacey, one expert witness and our attorney, Doug Bagby who agreed to represent us for free. When we walked into court, Stacy and I were pretty intimidated by the huge legal force that this large corporation had commissioned to represent their side. Mr. Bagby however was not intimidated at all and proceeded to present a brilliant case for our side and totally discredited all of their claims that Peyton-Cramer Ford was not liable for damages. I have been represented by Mr. Bagby and his associates, Bruce Moss and Ken Chyten, over the past 4 years in various family law and civil litigation matters and have been extremely happy with every aspect of their services and the results they have been able to obtain for me. In 2011 Mr. Bagby, along... with his associate, Mr. Moss, were able to obtain an Order for my former husband to pay me approximately $3.5 million for his failure to comply with various provisions of the 2004 judgment and for attorneys fees. In 2012 Mr Bagby , along with his associates, Ken Chyten and Bruce Moss, represented me in a fraud claim against my former husand and they were able to establish that a Deed of Trust my husband had me sign in the 90s for $2.25 million was not in fact signed by me in the presence of a notary. Mr. Bagby obtained records from the State of California showing that there was no notary with the name of the person who purportedly notarized my signature on the Deed of Trust and he then proved through a handwriting expert that the signature of the name of the notary was actually forged by someone who was a close business associate of my husband. The Judge set aside the Judgment and ordered the $4 million house which had been awarded to my husband in the Judgment to be awarded to me. The Judge also declared the Deed of Trust to have been forged and declared it null and void. Mr. Bagby had the ability to grasp the issues of this very complicated case. He always responded promptly to my calls and e-mails and explained everything to me very clearly. His associates and staff are very professional and knowledgeable and of the highest integrity.
