I'm here to express my deep disappointment with this law firm, SAWDAYI DEVIN. I hired them because of a car accident. The lawyer, Ana Paula, was attentive during the initial consultation, but then she stopped answering calls and didn't return calls. Then Yuzumi took over, and she was much worse. I ha...d to repeat the same thing 10 times; she never knew anything. It's been a year and two months and I still haven't received a report... Disappointment!!!

Lawyer failed to respond to a motion within 14 days, and did not notify me of the motion. As a result, my Bankruptcy has been dismissed. My house is in jeopardy. I emailed him on Wednesday. He did not call me Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday. Lawyer failed to inform me and my mortgage company that ...his address changed, resulting in important documents not being received for several weeks, and a delay in my mortgage assistant decision. I asked the lawyer for weeks about important mortgage documents sent to his attention, and for weeks he did not inform me of his address change. Lawyer lied to me to get me off the phone once. Lawyer left rude voice message after I would not agree to pay him $1500 to convert to Chapter 7. He said, irritated, " I don't know what you're so confused about". Lawyer would not reply to my 6 email inquiries about my mortgage assistance application requiring action on his part, until I made an online complaint about him. Lawyer would not mail time -sensitive documents to my home, even though I explained I had just gotten out of the hospital and was weak and without a car. He also refused to provide the due date listed on the paperwork; he lied and said he has a "client in the office". I had to travel over 60 miles (120 miles total) to retrieve the documents that required a notary. As it turns out, the documents were overdue; that's why he did not want to tell me the date. Lawyer has become increasingly dismissive and unconcerned. One time we were discussing my case by phone for several minutes then he says, "Oh, I thought you were somebody else".

For months I attempted to get a loan modification through a well known bank to no avail. I received a call from a company that I was dealing with notifying me of the auction of my condo that was scheduled to take place in 4 days and the only option I had left was to file for Bankruptcy-Chapter 13. I... called my sister at about 4:45 p.m in the evening and she recommended Devin Sawdayi because she had dealt with him in the past and was very impressed with his services. She called Devin on a 3-way and within a matter of 20 minutes he provided me with the necessary information to start the process. I completed the initial credit counseling course. I met with Devin in office on Saturday, I provided him with all the necessary information that he needed to start the process and on Monday morning he filed the papers with the Bankruptcy Court and stop the sale of my home. The entire procees took place in a matter of 4 days. I am still in my home as a result of Devin's hard work and concern about my situation. I would recommend him to anyone who is in trouble and needs a professional and caring attorney.
