Peter M. Hsiao is the founding attorney and principal at the California Workers Compensation Lawyers. After graduating from University of Southern California in political science, he obtained his law degree from Whittier Law School in 2002.

In his early legal career Mr. Hsiao represented various self insured employers as well as insurance carriers in workers’ compensation matters throughout the state of California. In the past he has represented claims seminars to third party administrators as well conducted claims reviews to employers. Through his decade long representation of employers and insurance carriers he has gained an unique perspective on how to prosecute claims on behalf of injured workers today. He understands how insurance carriers views each claim and more importantly how the insurance company is determining the value of each claim.

Today through his zealous representation of injured workers Mr. Hsiao has been able to place each claim in the most favorable light and successfully negotiate the maximum settlements possible. Mr. Hsiao takes pride in being accessible to clients. He is a member of CAAA and the Los Angeles County Bar Association. From time to time Mr. Hsiao holds a talk show on the radio discussing various workers compensation issues confronting the community.

Big thanks!
I am a federal employee and called around for about 30 mins and nobody would take my case. It was just, "we don't take those cases sorry" nobody was especially rude but not helpful either. I spoke with Peter's office and nice guy spoke to me at length about why they did not take Federal cases and referred me to a lawyer out of Ohio who might take my case. I called and this lawyer in Ohio did. I am very grateful for this man's law firm taking the time to help someone they had no chance of making a dime from. I will be referring any non-federal people I know to him.

Did not disappoint
Peter was referred to me by the woman who does my hair. He was excellent to deal with. I could not be happier with my outcome. Not happy at all about my injury and residual pain from my injury but I have no idea how I could have handled this case on my own. Thanks Peter and staff.

Peter was a great guy. He took my case when nobody else wanted it. I knew it was not a big money case but I needed help. He did that for me, I know he did not make much but took it anyway. The least I can do is leave him good reviews in hopes that someone else will see this and trust him to do them right the way he did me.

Great Results
Peter was referred to me by a co-worker. Her husband used him n a work injury case. He was very happy and totally vouched for Peter. I signed up and he delivered everything as promised. I was 100% happy with my experience with him. The workers compensation system however awful. Good thing I had a great lawyer representing me.

Peter did an awesome job for me getting me medical treatment and negotiating a settlement of the permanent disability is suffered as a result of my work injury. Very nice man with a responsive staff. I never felt ignored or left in the dark.

Mr. Hsiao is an excellent lawyer and person. I came to him with a work injury case that was denied. He spent the time working it up and it was accepted. I called Mr. Hsiao looking for some advice regarding my workers' compensation case. I am a federal worker so he was not able to help me. He did take the time to explain to me why there are literally a handful of lawyers who take federal cases. He did refer me to a lawyer out of state. He took my case and I am going through the process. Thank you very much for taking the time to care. I had called about 4 other workers comp firms and they were not rude, but dismissive.

Great Lawyer!
Peter represented me on a work injury case a few years ago. He was very easygoing but extremely knowledgeable. He is a former insurance company defense lawyer and that was a big reason I hired him. He was very aware of the games the insurance company had been playing with me for months. I felt very comfortable with him and he delivered positive results as I suspected.

Best Workers Comp Lawyer in LA
I hired Peter about 4 years ago to represent me in a work injury. I broke my leg, had surgery and did not feel like I was getting adequate medical treatment. My surgeon seemed to be very disinterred in helping me after she did the surgery and I needed more recovery time and physical therapy and I was not getting it. Thankfully my sister in law is a nurse and brought the horrible medical treatment I was getting to my attention so I shopped around and found Peter. I highly recommend him. His has a nice personality, intense but very friendly and cares.

Peter was terrific to deal with. His staff was always available to give me status on my case. They never went longer than 24 hours without getting back to me. Peter was very honest about to what expect on my settlement so no false expectations were set. I am very happy with him and have referred friends already.

disappointed
I only retained mr peter's "legal services" to help me which my medical doctors from insurance appointed doctors to someone that isn't on the take and misdiagnosing my injury. if i am not contacted with in one day, i an curding this useless, do NOTHING, unresponsive so-called lawyer. TIK TOK!
