I currently represent my firm in workers' compensation, business litigation, and personal injury matters. I also have experience in employment and labor law, landlord-tenant law, and securities fraud litigation. I am admitted to practice law in the State of California and I am pending admission in the State of Georgia, where I will be representing clients in workers' compensation defense matters.
Prior to joining Hitzke & Ferran, I worked as a law clerk and later as a volunteer attorney for the Orange County Public Defender’s Office located in Newport Beach, California. As a volunteer attorney, I gained valuable legal experience as I represented indigent criminal defendants. I graduated with distinction from University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento, California. I received an Academic Achievement Scholarship and a Witkin Award for achieving the highest grade in my property law class. In law school, I also participated in numerous legal clinics and externships, including an externship with Judge Lawrence K. Karlton of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of California.
I graduated summa cum laude from Youngstown State University in Youngstown, Ohio with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Political Science. As an undergraduate student, I received the prestigious Leslie H. Cochran University Scholarship, a four-year, full tuition, merit-based scholarship awarded to select incoming freshmen who exhibit both superior academic qualifications and a commitment to community service.

Jessica was my supervisor and mentor for quite a bit of time and I cannot thank her enough for doing so. I would trust Jessica in managing other attorneys as well as managing a huge caseload at the same time. Jessica is one of the most brilliant, strategic, and aggressive attorneys I have met. I highly endorse Jessica!

I highly endorse Jessica Neal. She's smart and dedicated, but most importantly, I cannot think of a harder worker. That's what makes the difference in legal cases in my experience. The lawyer who is willing to learn every detail of a case and the surrounding laws to make sure the client succeeds. Great attorney.
