Jessica L. Collins

Jessica Collins is an associate with The Jacobson Law Firm, APC.  She joined the firm in April 2014 and practices in the area of workers’ compensation.  Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Collins worked with the Family Justice Center, serving as an attorney to a domestic violence clinic.  In this position, Ms. Collins worked closely with victims of domestic violence, assisted them in obtaining temporary restraining orders, and represented victims at their court hearings.

After working with the Family Justice Center, Ms. Collins worked for a solo-practioner in Riverside County, California.  While there, Ms. Collins represented clients in both personal injury cases and workers’ compensation claims.

Ms. Collins attended Arizona State University where she received a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Business Management in 2007.  She then attended Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego, California where she graduated in the top third of her class in 2012.

While in law school, Ms. Collins was involved with Law Students for Reproductive Justice and Public Interest Law Foundation where she received scholarships from both the Dean and the Public Interest Law Foundation.  Jessica was also on the Dean’s list throughout law school for her academic achievement. 

Ms. Collins is a Southern California native and has been a member of the California Bar since December 3, 2012.
