Biography
I am a Certified Specialist in Immigration and Nationality Law with 18 years of experience in the field. I practice immigration law exclusively, including deportation defense for lawful permanent residents, cancellation of removal for nonresidents, fraud waivers, and applications for asylum. I handle complex matters involving family-based petitions, unlawful presence waivers, citizenship and naturalization matters.
In addition to my practice before the USCIS and Immigration Courts, I have extensive experience litigating immigration cases before various U.S. District Courts, Circuit Courts of Appeal and the U.S. Supreme Court. I am admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of the United States, the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth and Fourth Circuits, and the United States District Courts for the Central and Eastern Districts of California and the District of Columbia.
I am an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), the Executive Committee for the Immigration Section of the Los Angeles County Bar Association (LACBA), and a member of the advisory committee for the Los Angeles Office of Kids in Need of Defense (KIND).
