Joseph J. (“JJ”) Shepherd is a Senior Associate in the Los Angeles offices of Tafapolsky & Smith LLP. Mr. Shepherd advises employers, investors, and individuals regarding all aspects of U.S. immigration and nationality law. Mr. Shepherd currently serves as a Member of the AILA National ACES (Athletics, Culture, Entertainment, and Science) Committee (2015-present), and as a Consular Liaison for AILA So. Cal. (2016-present). He previously served as a Member of the AILA National LGBT Immigration Issues Working Group (2014-2015), as a USCIS District 23 Liaison for AILA So. Cal. (2015-2016), a Congressional Advocacy Liaison for AILA So. Cal (2014-2015), and as a Founding Member of the LGBT Committee for AILA So. Cal (2013-2014). Mr. Shepherd is licensed in Massachusetts and practices exclusively immigration and nationality law.
