Worst Decision Ive EVER MADE

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE READ If you dont want to lose and you want to have an actual lawyer to support you and fight for you STAY AWAY from Neil DeLeon. This attorney is the epiphany of why lawyers have bad reputation. He been an attorney nearly 2 decades he stopped caring and only cares about money.... First lets begin by saying he is a limited scope so he will they try to entice you with their price but dont make that mistake. Pay extra for an attorney Who will do everything for you in one payment. Neil will do everything he can to prolong the case and each time he comes to court he charges 2000-2500. Now think 5-10 appearances. Upon hiring him he was everything you would want in a lawyer after you pay him you pretty much dont have a lawyer. He doesnt do anything he says he will for you hence why you go to court and always have to get an extension by him. I had court Monday. 2 weeks prior to my court date I was need of a court prep. Every single day for the whole week i called for my court prep and they scheduled me a time to talk and Neil never showed up. Every single day he didnt even bother to give me a curtesy call to say he wont make it. They simply ignored me. Im left in complete dark. Today is Friday as im writing this Monday will be my court date and I will be going to court without a lawyer since Neil decided he doesnt want to represent me because im emotional before the court day because im upset he lied to me. Can you believe that? Hiring a lawyer paying them every penny they ask than they ghost you for 2 months and drop you day before the court. I have recorded every phone call with Neil and I plan on filling a complaint with CA bar association along with BBB Neil is only responsive when he wants money from you after that you are on your own! PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF AND NEVER GET A-LIMITED SCOPE ATTORNEY ESPECIALLY NOT NEIL.

Unprofessional

Extremely unsatisfied with their services. Starting, they haven't given the papers to the other party properly, when they told me courier will take care of that. Neil coming to the court always unprepared. Starts making suggestions right before hearing and preparing the questions. I gave him all the ...tools to break all acquisition towards me, but he never listened, saying that all of them are irrelevant. I gave him witnesses, and all were irrelevant. His hands were shaking when he was scrolling the papers while hearing. He was nervous because he was unprepared. All of his work was scaring me to sign the contract and take money. I can't be concerned about the rest of the people in their office, because they were fine doing their job. But Neil De Leon is unprofessional. He never called me on time, even though we had certain appointments. Never worked with me regarding the case. Finally, his careless behavior was horrible after we came out from the lost hearing with broken feelings. He said I don't care and just call me if want to consultation.

Neil is the BEST of THE BEST!

My experience with Neil De Leon was & continues to be 100% positive. Neil was referred to me by a very satisfied client, who happens to be a close personal friend of mine, and I am glad to say that I am now a very satisfied client as well! Throughout the process & my experience, Neil exudes a very ...patient and calm approach, yet makes you feel confident that if you have to take him into the court room he's a great white shark! Neil is very experienced & knowledgeable who KNOWS family law like the back of his hand. When it comes to child custody battles, Neil is intelligent, diligent, punctual, and dedicated to the families he works for. Neil worked on my very litigious case, where the irresponsible acts of the other parent caused for a child's safety to be seriously at stake, mounted with the parent not having or holding an amicable relationship with the other parent, making it difficult to have access to the child and not keeping the child's interest in mind. The difficulties encountered both in & out of court with the other parent, caused me to make a decision. I made it a point to find a lawyer in the middle of my case because of mistakes I made from representing myself & not knowing law. It was difficult and scary to place my trust and the trust of my outcome in the hands of an attorney, but Neil completely restored my faith that excellent attorneys that care about your family and the safety of your child, albeit rare, still exist! From the first phone call we made to Neil, he came up with a solid plan for us on the spot. Neil understood the complex issue and put my mind at ease with his candor and next steps. He is confident yet realistic; he doesn't just tell you what you want to hear so you will keep spending money frivolously in denial-- he tells you the REALITY of what you need to know to ensure that you are always 5 steps ahead of the other party. He also knew how to work within our financial means and provided multiple ways for us to follow through with our plan. Although there have been many twists and turns in our case, Neil has been by our side every step of the way, always responding to e-mails and phone calls promptly. In the courtroom, he is incredibly sharp and humble, the perfect combination that judges respect; even under pressure he advocated for us and came up with INCREDIBLE solutions right on the spot in the middle of court when the other party attempted to throw a few curveballs. Solutions that saved me more money, which I am greatly thankful for, a solution I would not have come up if I were self-represented. In the end, we got an outcome that was more favorable than we could have imagined. If you are looking for a family law attorney just remember one thing: the lawyer that you choose for a child custody battle plays a huge role in making (or breaking) your case. Only a parent who truly has their child's safety & best interest in mind can begin to even understand or comprehend what it means to know that my child & my family is safe because we placed our trust in Neil De Leon to fight for us and he did exactly that and MORE. Thank You Neil!

Highly Recommend

Neil represented me through a very difficult time ending my 14 years of marriage. We did not have any minor children but there were a lot of technical issues because my spouse was a government employee. He answered every question I had; returned my telephone calls when I call him; and prepared paperw...ork in a timely fashion. He is very knowledgeable and I have referred other people to him for his expertise. If I should need these services in the future, I would, without hesitation, contact Neil.

"I was court appointed minors counsel on a matter in which Neil represented the mother. Neil did a superb job for his client. He was well prepared and understood the nuance and details of the matter. He sent me all the relevant documents in the matter and organized everything in a way that made it easy to review. I ultimately recommended that custody remain with his client. This was due, in large part, to Mr. DeLeon's organizational and communication skills. His client was fortunate to have had him as her lawyer."
