During her undergraduate studies at the University of California, Santa Barbara, Ms. Galindez worked for the Admissions Outreach Program to attract and retain students of color. Additionally, she volunteered as a tutor and mentor at the Isla Vista Teen Center to help under-privileged teens do their homework and prepare for college.
