Ronald Marc Canter

Canter was hired for a Workers Comp. case on 01/01/2003, I was having problems with my hands going numb while working, and having a hard time breathing. So I was set up with a Doctor that started handling my hand problems. Canter was the one to refer the Doctor that was fine. But I kept calling his ...office atleast once a week trying to find out what I should do about my breathing problem, I left messages for him to call, my breathing was bothering me a lot. He never returned any of my calls the entire time of my case that was until 04/2009. He called to tell me to be in Van Nuys Court for final day in court and only saw him when he came out of the court I never went inside or talked to about the pay off or his fees. He just came out told how much I get, and after the amount of time it took to settle my case was real hard on me. I had to borrow money for rent for 11 months. But the main real problem was I was never advised on my breathing problem, and 2 weeks later I woke up and could not breath, I spent 2 Weeks in Providence Hospital Burbank, and ran out of insurance while they running all kinds of tests, so then I had to go to Olive View where I was told that I had at some time inhaled a microscopic plant spore that was growing in my Right lung. There is a long medical name for this. I now have a section missing out of my lung that makes breathing hard even still. If Canter would atleast returned one of my calls and advised me, I had no idea what to do he is the professional. And went and had it checked I would not have this problem today. The first time we met in his office all he would talk about was playing guitar with his son! So what I grew up with Randy Rhoads! So I’m not very impressed with his service and just found out about this forum or I would of vented alot sooner. Also the pay off was right at $36,000.00 less than if I worked for the 6 years it took to settle.

I contacted me.canter about my case and he instantly replied and made me confident he knew and dealt with my works insurance company plenty of times. And I was not deceived. Due to him having many cases, I did have to keep calling and check on status parts of the case, but me.canter and hisbteam were... all very sympathetic, and informative as well as helpful. Because of his professional experience I was able to only suffer four months (instead of years and was all works insurance fault) and he was able to speed up the process of my settlement and the check because the insurance company taking forever caused my family and I to become homeless. I received my check a week in a half maybe close to two weeks after it was signed. I highly recommend Mr. Canter and his staff. They try very hard to be as responsive and quick as possible and you can tell they actually care about you, not in it for his (small) percentage of the money.

Mr Canter was a very helpful advocate when I was dealing with an injury which made it hard to get back to work. It was a difficult process and I was happy to have someone like Mr. Canter in my corner. The legal process is never without bumps in the road, but I appreciated his willingness to keep me i...nformed throughout the duration of my case. His staff was also helpful when I called. Highly recommended.
