Jamie C. Henry

Ms. Henry was admitted to the Nevada Bar in 2009.  After three years as an associate in a law firm, she opened her own family law practice.  In 2013, Ms. Henry was offered a contract through Douglas County, Nevada as an indigent defense attorney.  She now practices both family law and criminal defense.   As a sole practitioner, Ms. Henry is involved with the full spectrum of client representation, including drafting and prosecution of pre and post-judgment motions, conducting and managing discovery, negotiation and drafting of final agreements, trial preparation, and the examination of witnesses at trial.

Ms. Henry is a zealous and compassionate advocate who cares for her clients.  She makes herself available to her staff, her clients and her colleagues. She is passionate, sensitive, and makes certain that each of her clients is well-informed and that she obtains the best outcome possible.  

Recently, Ms. Henry was informed that she was selected to receive this year's prestigious TOP 10 UNDER 40 Attorney Award for the State of Nevada by the National Academy of Family Law Attorneys (NAFLA).

The National Academy of Family Law Attorneys is an organization devoted to recognizing the top family law attorneys in the Nation. With more than a million attorneys in the United States, choosing the best lawyer is difficult. However, through a stringent selection process, NAFLA awards the best family law attorneys in each state with its most prestigious honor of being named Top 10. The very few attorneys (less than 1 percent) that are good enough to make the list have demonstrated an extraordinary amount of knowledge, skill, experience, expertise and success in their practice of family law.
