He has also obtained temporary and extended workplace restraining orders on behalf of employers for threats of workplace violence. Montgomery has represented clients in Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), Labor Management Relations Act (LMRA) and Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) matters.  Additionally, he has represented clients in Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) whistleblowing actions before OSHA, the Department of Labor's Office of Administrative Law Judges, and in federal court.

Prior to joining Littler Mendelson, Montgomery worked as a commercial litigator for a prominent regional law firm. Before becoming an attorney, he worked at an international imports/exports company that specialized in motor sports.
