Bob Grossman, Tax Law Center in Las Vegas, Nevada

I am an attorney and have been around them since 1984. Extraordinarily qualified and highly competent and no nonsense aptly describes Attorney Bob Grossman. His 4 decades of experience in the highly specialized area of tax law and tax related litigation give his clients the legitimate edge they need... when dealing with the worlds most infamous collection agency. Who does not need Bob Grossman...I can name no one.

Did Nothing

Hired Bob to negotiate with the IRS to settle my tax debt. I told him my income would not be going down, but he collected $10K from me and for 3 years said he could do nothing as I was in bankruptcy. After that he said I made too much for an OIC, and that we would be best to wait until I retired (wh...ich I told him was not going to happen any time in the foreseeable future). He said to wait until I got a threatening letter from the IRS and not to worry about the interest and penalties as the more I owed the easier it would be for him to negotiate a reduction. Three years later, when I still hadn't gotten the threat - he said I had used up my $10k and he couldn't do anything more for me unless I wanted to pay $400/hour for further consultation. Left Bob and when I finally heard from the IRS the fees I accumulated by his not settling when he said he couldn't negotiate an offer have now doubled what I owe - and I'm in the same position I was before I paid him.

For 2004 and 2005, you owed IRS over $122,000 for tax years 2004 and 2005. On October 20, 2017, you engaged us to file an Offer In Compromise for you on grounds you could not pay what you owed IRS. You Offered $500 to settle your tax liability. You filled out and signed a financial statement under oath supporting your contention that you could not pay more than $500. On November 14, 2017, we promptly filed your Offer based on your statement that you could not pay. You claimed a refund in 2016 but you told us that this was as a consequence of a one-time child care credit which you never paid IRS in the first place but which you applied for on your 2016 tax return. In fact, your income increased substantially during 2017 and 2018 which you did not share with us or IRS. We argued and convinced IRS to ignore the 2016 child care refund as it was a one-time event. Your contention that we ever told you or anyone else “not to worry about penalties and interest” is manifestly untrue. However, you never told us your income increased substantially (like more than two times and almost 3 times) during 2017 and 2018 to the point where IRS determined you could pay more than the $500 you offered. We have compromised over 302 cases and saved taxpayers over $53,000,000. Those cases qualified for Offer acceptance on the grounds of doubt as to collectability. You failed to let us know that your income increased so substantially in 2017 and 2018, that you could pay more than the $500 you offered which resulted in IRS ultimately rejecting your Offer after we appealed your case to the highest IRS level. I am sorry that you, like everybody, who can pay, must pay what they can. We are attorneys and not guarantors of results, and your failure to be candid with us about your increased ability to pay did not help you. We have always communicated with you promptly and courteously and will continue to do so. We always take suggestions and criticisms most seriously and we respond promptly.

Best Tax Attorney!!

I don't usually leave recommendation but  just want to give my great thanks to a great Attorney that left me with NO doubts about what was going to occur when it came to my taxes. I never thought I would be rid of this problem. Attorney Robert Grossman put me at ease from the first meeting. Adjec...tives that encompassed my experience: Professional, Prompt (he personally called me back whenever I had a question), No-Nonsense, Kind, Knowledgeable, Locally-Owned Business. I didn’t want to go to a ‘Tax Mill’ and be treated like a number. His expertise in the field and prior IRS experience makes him the man for the job. I paid less than 9 cents on the dollar for what was a ‘nightmare on my street’ for sure. I highly recommend Attorney Robert Grossman!

TOP TIER TAX ATTORNEY

Bob and his team are the best. There is a small group of top-tier attorneys that handle tax issues in Las Vegas. Bob is among the best. The IRS knows him and trusts him, which is key. I was able to get an installment agreement; no big breaks because of my income. But, without Bob, the process was st...arting to get scary. Bob figured out how to make a deal and I am deeply appreciative of his and Cheryl's efforts. THANKS!

Resolved an IRS audit from almost $30K owed to nada.

Bob depth of tax law experience and his bilingual skills helped us immeasurably with guiding us through the audit process and in representing our interests and small but internationally-based business during the audit. We highlight herein and appreciate his time efficiency. Bob is a professional in e...very respect and we do not hesitate to recommend him. IRS sent an audit notice in which they "helpfully" pre-determined that they'd recognize our small business income but ignore all of our small business expenses. Even after the audit, in which we supplied all required support documentation, they managed to misplace an entire folder of it that we had to resupply. In the end, the IRS demand was completely resolved with no additional taxes owed.
