Tye Diaz Masters

Tye Masters graduated cum laude from the University of Southern California in 2013, earning dual degrees in Political Science and Philosophy, Politics, and Law, along with a minor in Business Law. A native of Las Vegas, Nevada, he later returned to his hometown to attend the UNLV William S. Boyd School of Law, where he was a Dean’s Merit Scholarship recipient, graduating in 2017.

After successfully passing the bar exam on his first attempt in 2017, Tye began his legal career as in-house counsel for University Medical Center of Southern Nevada. In this role, he navigated complex regulatory matters, including Medicare and Medicaid compliance, insurance billing, hospital accreditation, and healthcare provider standards. He also managed and litigated cases involving medical malpractice, premises liability, physician credentialing, and patient accounting disputes. In 2025, Tye joined the team at Benson & Bingham, bringing his extensive healthcare legal experience to his personal injury practice, where he is committed to achieving the best outcomes for his clients.

Having grown up in a military family, Tye had the opportunity to live in diverse locations such as Germany, Texas, and Arkansas before settling in Southern Nevada in 2001. He considers Nevada his home and is dedicated to serving his community with professionalism and determination. Outside of the office, Tye enjoys cheering on the Vegas Golden Knights, supporting the USC Trojans, playing golf, and spending time with his two dogs on scenic walks.
