My younger brother and I needed to retain an attorney to represent our interest in our mother’s estate. Prior to retaining Brian Nelson, of Goodsell Law Group, there was a family feud regarding the distribution of her assets, to include; household contents, automobiles, homes, land, and financial ac...counts. There was a last will and testament filed on behalf of our mother and the entirety of her estate was left to her two youngest biological children. The first attorney we spoke with looked at the notary page and immediately said that the will was invalid. Brian looked at the will and said it was valid. He worked tirelessly on our behalf. Brian was very personable, professional, confident, and effective. He was open for all types of communication and provided updates as needed. Brian answered all our questions, in laymen terms. In early April I was abroad and thought I was coming down with CV19. I had written a holographic will previously but wanted to change the beneficiary. In a near panic - (Edit - No, in an actual panic) - I read lawyer reviews on Avvo for Las Vegas/Henderson and came up with about 4 names I want...ed to speak with to decide who to hire. The first attorney was not available and I made an appointment for a free phone consultation the next morning. Brian Nelson was my 2nd call. I got thru to him, explained the situation, and he began explaining ways to resolve it. After that, I felt there was no need to conduct further interviews and hired him. We decided I would hand write a new holographic will by copying a form he sent me, then take photos of each page and email them to him so he would have a copy immediately. After that I would courier the original to him. I was impressed enough that I also appointed him my Personal Representative for the will. Throughout the process I had more questions and he was almost always promptly available with answers. (Thankfully I did not come down with CV19). I recommend him.
