I was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska, and remain a die-hard Cornhusker fan.
I graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Kansas in 1994 with a double major in Political Science and Communication Studies. Following my undergraduate studies, I earned my Juris Doctorate with Distinction, from the University of Iowa College of Law in 1997.
Immediately after graduating law school in 1997, I moved to Las Vegas where I practiced law as an insurance defense attorney for seven years, until I joined Henness & Haight to assist injured victims.
I have successfully tried several jury and non jury trials involving car accidents, slip and falls, and animal attacks. In addition to these types of cases, my practice includes all aspects of personal injury, including wrongful death cases, burn victims, accidents involving children, and negligent security cases.
I am licensed to practice in Nevada and California and am a member of the Clark County, Nevada, and California Bar Associations. I have been named a Nevada Super Lawyer "Rising Star" in 2008 and 2009.
In addition to Nebraska football, my interests include reading, skiing, biking, golf, independent film, coffee, and The Beatles.
