After several years as a defense lawyer, I became a solo practitioner to use my big law trial and appellate experience to give personal attention to select clients and cases. I work alone (with support!) because I have a unique set of skills and insights: I went to law school after raising children, prior careers in journalism and public relations, almost becoming an economist, and living in several U.S. states, New Zealand and England.
