Unprofessional

I had a bad experienced with Attroney Evan last year. I was really upset at how unprofessional he showed up to court. Messy looking, hair. His little girl was on the background of his video. Unprofessional. By the way, I prepared and filed my own paperwork to court. I served Defendant. I hired t...he professional and knowledgeable to help me out the day in court. Did not follow up. Bad communicator. The day at court was a nightmare. He did not seem to be on my side. I had to speak out for myself. I was really disappointed for hiring and paying Attroney Evan.

We certainly appreciate legitimate feedback and welcome conversation about how the Firm can improve service to all clients. We are somewhat concerned this review is not a review from an actual client. The Firm typically doesn't do appearance work where the Party filed their own paperwork, motions etc. The reviewer doesn't leave a name. Likewise, the reviewer appears to indicate that the hearing was done via video. Most Family Court hearings are conducted via video right now. If you saw my daughter, you would have seen my son as well as they are joined at the hip. Likewise, the video quality of Blue Jeans wouldn't really let one see if the hair is not quite GQ as it is not the greatest. Our Firm is always on the client's side and takes the duty of zealous advocacy seriously. This duty is balanced by the need to give client's honest and objective advice and not advance positions in Court that aren't supported by law or are unethical. Taking such positions would not serve the client's overall interest. These reasons and a number of others indicate that the review perhaps is not a review from an actual client. If the reviewer is an actual client, we would welcome a phone conversation with them to discuss any concerns they may have. We always aim to improve our client service and business practices and value legitimate feedback.

Custody

I hired Mr. Schwab to help with keeping my children safe. My case is not easy as I have high anxiety and my ex refuses to comply. He has helped at first with coming to an agreement. Then my ex took me back to court to make me look bad because he wasn’t doing so hot. Evan stuck by my side and fought ...for my kids safety and myself. We had a win. I would recommend him to anyone needing help with custody matters. I was referred to Evan by Nathan Deaver. Evan is always available to talk to and feels like family to me.

Evan is exemplary!

I've utilized services by Evan a few times, and I am so darn thankful that I did! He goes above and beyond and if you need him at 2pm or 2am, he is there for you! I had 2 criminal cases, one of which was mistaken identity and it was taken care of with ease and no stress, and for the second one, I did...n't even have to appear! He is fantastic and so knowledgeable; if you are a ball of stress like I am, he will put you at ease. He will not leave you broke, as his pricing is fair and just. The old saying of you get what you pay for is true, but do not pay for more! Other lawyers were asking absurd amount and were down right jerks. Evan is fair and will fight for you! Just remember, be transparent with him and he will fight tooth and nail. Thank you Evan!

terrible communication and not truthful..

I was told by a friend that Evan wanted me to call him about a case. I did in December and said I wasn't ready to start until the new year. He called me early in January and said lets get this case rolling!! He said being as I was ""Family"" he wouldn't over charge me . I went in early in Janua...ry to give him facts on the case and he said all these things he would do..but first he wanted me to deposit his fee in to his bank account. ..It took 3 months b4 He even did a complaint letter and that took me getting on him .. he also gave the person I am suing till the end of June to respond or lawsuit would be filed if I didn't agree with what they said....I never heard really anything from him and almost 3 months later still nothing had been done. I'd go weeks without hearing from him unless I called and even then didn't get much out of him. The last time I called him all I heard from him was " I'm crabby and don't want to talk, and he would call that night...which once again...he didn't. I decided to go back to the attorney I originally talked to, He refused to refund any money and said once he commences a case their is no refund. He never elaborated on HIS rules for a flat rate. I'm sure Evan was happy when my new lawyer said they were taking over the case. He had his money so what incentive does he have to continue the case. Not only did I waste a lot of money but also wasted 8 months dealing with Evan....it was a horrible experience!!
