Horrible.......

I retained this attorney and explained my situation to him and was told that my case would be dismissed easily. I provided all of the documentation that I was told to send. Now, they are telling me that I have to pay a fee of $552 for failing to register a car in Nevada when I never had a car to begi...n with. If you all need help and are thinking about retaining this office, do yourself a favor and just go down to the court house yourself. .... My father in law came here for 3 weeks (1 week in May, 1 in August, 1 in October) because my wife was having problems with her pregnancy. In October, a note was left on the car so I called it. The man on the phone wouldn't give me any information unless I gave him mine. So I gave him my name and DOB. He told me that I had to go to court (The date turned out to be Veteran's Day) for failing to get my car registered in NV. I told him that it belonged to my in-laws, but he told me that I still needed to go to court. The week before the court date, I noticed that the day in which I needed to be there was Veteran's Day. I called and asked the constable's office if they were going to be open and they said yes. Well, I get there and the court house was closed. The next day, I called and told them that the office was closed and they told me that I didn't need to worry about the ticket since it wasn't in my name. In May, I received a letter from a collections agency telling me that I owed them around 1300, so I called them. They gave me all this information from the Justice Court and told me that I had a warrant out for my arrest. I contacted this office and retained them for $150. I explained everything to him and he promised me that this was an open and shut case and that it will be dismissed. He got the warrant dropped immediately. But the court date wasn't until a month and a half later. I called today to find out what happened and they tell me that I have to pay the warrant fee of $250 (I don't mind paying that) but I also have to pay $302 for failing to get registration. Laughable! The personnel in the office asked me if I knew someone with a car so I could add my name unto their car to show that I got it registered. Really? I don't have a car, nor am I going to get one just to not have to pay for something I shouldn't have been charged with in the first place. I gave this lawyer every piece a paperwork they asked for: copy of my father in law's DL, a copy of the CA registration, a copy of the CA insurance, a copy of a current bill to show that my father in law does in fact live in CA. Not sure how after all of this, I still owe $552, but if this is the type of service a person would receive by retaining this office, I suggest you find another office or just go to the courthouse and argue the case yourself.

Arleengore for Tom Gore

As my husband got a ticket in Feb. I attempted to have Mark resolve this as he has not had a ticket by Before and wanted his record clean we requested the att. To resolve this problem and left a $100 to retain him to date we have not heard from him tho we have called several times. The ticket was in... February. Have asked repeatedly for info! Very poor service they did keep our money however. We thought this was a hire! Mini

Very professional and communicative

I reached out to multiple law firms to handle my ticket warrants, and Mark Coburn was the first to get back with me. My warrants were handled very quickly, and i appreciate how he would reach out and let me know what was happening at all stages. I appreciate how quickly it was handled. Thank you -... Erin

Only gets a one star because I can't give a 0

Hired Mr. Coburn after a DUI arrest in Las Vegas. After his initial phone call and him reassuring me that the least he could do is get it dropped to a reckless driving charge if not dropped altogether, he told me to come to his office and I could meet with him and discuss my case. Which I did stupidl...y the next day, and paid him in full. Then I sat in his office waiting for this face to face, which never happened. They told me he was busy. Fine. I left expecting some sort of communication with him or his office before my court date. Nothing. I called them four days before my court date and they called me back the next day. Three days before court, they informed me that they had to push back the trial. I had already bought my plane tickets and a hotel room to be AT court. Great. Second court date is on Monday of this coming week. They again call at the end of the week to not only tell me that my case is lost, but there's nothing they can do, so they're going to send some paperwork for me to sign so the case will be closed. Still have a dui going on my record. I was told by Scott Steinhoff that "I should be thankful that I will have the speeding ticket dropped"! "they have a solid case, even though you passed some of the sobriety tests", "don't waste your time coming here". They never asked ME one single question about my case or my circumstances. NOT ONE!!! When I was asking Scott about his firms practices, HE HUNG UP ON ME!!! Hung up on a client. Real nice. Don't ever hire this man or his office to represent you. It will be the SECOND biggest mistake you ever make!
