From humble beginnings to a name synonymous with advocacy for fathers' rights, Mr. Vigoreaux's story is a testament to the power of perseverance, integrity, and unwavering commitment to justice. Born and raised in Southern California, Mr. Vigoreaux embarked on a transformative journey that led him to the field of family law, inspired by personal experiences that hit close to home.
After an honorable discharge from the United States Coast Guard, Mr. Vigoreaux faced one of the most challenging battles of his life: fighting for joint custody of his son. Hindered by inadequate legal representation that resulted in both financial loss and emotional strain, Mr. Vigoreaux took the bull by the horns and successfully represented himself in court. It was this ordeal that illuminated a significant gap in the system: the lack of resources and support for single fathers.
Motivated to be a part of the solution, Mr. Vigoreaux, initially devoted himself to advocating for fathers. Along his professional journey, he met incredible mothers facing similar struggles, which expanded his focus to fighting for the rights of all parents. Juggling work at a grocery store, fatherhood, and academics. His diligence paid off, earning him straight A's and acceptance into U.C. Berkeley. Committed to honing his litigation skills, he double majored in English and Rhetoric.
Following his successful academic career at Berkeley, Mr. Vigoreaux enrolled in Whittier Law School to continue his legal education closer to his family. After graduating, he founded a paralegal office, primarily drafting motions for family law attorneys.
In October of 2019, Mr. Vigoreaux moved to Las Vegas, Nevada, after passing the Nevada State Bar Exam. In 2020, he opened his private practice, quickly making a name for himself in the field. His relentless dedication earned him recognition as one of the "Top 10 Under 40" in 2022 by the National Academy of Family Law Attorneys and AVVO Peoples Choice Award in 2020, 2021, and 2022.
When he's not in the courtroom or at the office, Mr. Vigoreaux enjoys spending his downtime engaged in various activities such as video gaming, practicing martial arts, and hitting the gym. His two loyal companions, Temper and Bo, are never far behind.
Mr. Vigoreaux is not just an attorney; he is a living embodiment of resilience and a beacon for parents seeking justice in the family law system.
