Excellent

After applying and being denied on my own I decided to hire the Lawyer. After some research Mr Welts resume looked very impressive. Through this very long process I was following up with Christine who was giving me guidance and updates. At the hearing Mr Welt intervened several times at crucial momen...ts when I was getting confused or could not follow along. After the hearing Mr Welt stated that he was optimistic. Around four months after the hearing I received fully favorable decision. There are so many variables and factors and this process is very complicated and you need an experienced Lawyer not some advocate or someone who does not specialize in it. If you do not win with Mr Welt I am confident that no other Lawyer would give you different result. I wish everyone the best who is going through this process and wanna thank Mr Welt and his team for an outstanding service.Thank You

Terrible Attorney and Office- made me lose my case

I was with this attorney for 5 years. It was a nightmare. He and Ms. Doctors were completely unprepared for my first hearing and were planning their strategy in the SSA hearing office 15 mins before my hearing time. They kept the judge waiting. They didn’t understand my complex illness and failed mis...erably at explaining it to the judge. My physicians offered to help them understand it and they were completely uninterested in speaking with my doctor. After my first hearing denial, I met with Mr. Welt with two friends in attendance. He forgot who I was and told me a very sick lady who received daily IV therapy was just denied by the same judge. I was the very sick lady... Stay away from this firm. I my experience they didn’t care about me or my case at all.

Unfortunately not all cases we take are won at the initial administrative hearing. Our process for preparation includes contacting all doctors and medical providers and reviewing thousands of pieces of documentation to help prove that our clients are ill, injured or disabled and deserving of benefits. We ask each client, over the 18 months to 2 years that we are preparing their case for trial, to contact our office when they receive additional medical evidence and to call our offices monthly to provide us with updates. We meet with each client 1 to 2 weeks before the hearing for pre-trial preparation so that they are aware of the process, review with them the evidence gathered and let them know what to expect at the hearing. On the date of the scheduled hearing we arrive on time and are prepared for trial. We are called into the hearing when the judge is ready for us. If an appeal has been remanded, meaning it was sent back to the judge for further consideration because the original decision contained a significant error of law or was not supported by the substantial weight of the evidence, then we have the opportunity to retry the case, if we are the attorney of record at that time. Very sorry that you were not satisfied with your representation or the outcome of the case. It is very important that those filing for Social Security Disability benefits use an attorney or a certified ADR to represent them at hearings as it is very difficult to navigate the Social Security Disability system. Contacting a law firm that has experience in the Social Security Disability system gives those ill, injured or disabled, and out of work for more than 12 months, a better opportunity to win their claims.

Outstanding, Professional Attorney

After being denied by SSA at multiple levels, I decided to hire Mr. Welt who is highly rated/recommended. Mr. Welt is direct, thorough with no frills. Prior to agreeing to take your case he speaks with you to evaluate your circumstances and assess the likelihood of a positive outcome. Basically, do ...you meet SSA criteria for a potentially favorable decision in the appeal process. His staff is outstanding, especially Kristin. They are responsive to inquiries. Mr. Welt and his team prepare you for any appearances at a hearing and walk you through the process. No surprises. At the time of the hearing, Mr. Welt arrived early and took the time to talk with me. He was very confident and reassuring. My case was ruled 'Fully Favorable' by an Administrative Law Judge. I cannot thank Mr. Welt enough. His experience with SSA claims, appeals and hearings was truly beneficial.
