$2 Million Settlement

First, I want to thank my lawyers, Shane Cox and Justin Wilson for taking on my personal injury case and putting so much work into it. Not only are they great lawyers, they are also compassionate, dedicated, and funny. Watching them work together not only made me laugh and feel comfortable, but also ...filled me with confidence. I suffered a debilitating injury from a staircase fall that meant hospitalization, enormous medical bills, months out of work unpaid, seven painful surgeries and physical therapy. So often I felt as though my life would never be the same again, especially considering all that I had lost. I can’t do the things that I used to – and it was a major transition coming to terms with my new limitations. Through all this, Shane and Justin stayed constantly in touch, checking on me and texting updates. They were able to meet me at my home and always made time to meet with me at their office, fitting around my schedule. Shane even visited me in the hospital, bringing gifts of books when I felt at my lowest. When it came time for me to give a deposition, I was honestly really scared. But Justin spent hours with me going over potential questions and helping me think about the most concise answers. I was afraid the attorneys for the other party would undermine my confidence, but Justin was right there next to me, objecting when necessary, and making me feel strong and supported. Shane and Justin always believed in my case and never once backed down. Now that I have a settlement, I can see light at the end of the tunnel, and I am able to look forward to a more secure future. I can’t recommend Cox & Wilson enough. They are smart. They care. And they can be bulldogs when necessary. And best of all, I found myself cracking up a lot of the time. They are two brilliant and funny guys who are great friends and who worked tirelessly for me so that I could move on with my life.
