Truly Excellent... and Kind
Integrity, forthrightness, resolution... Randy Powers remained calm, reliable, and communicative through the most difficult of experiences. His direct, problem-solving approach put an end to unnecessary, spiraling legal drama. I am so grateful to Randy for his legal expertise and effectiveness, in addition to his professional kindness and civility.

Very Responsible and Good to Work With
Mr. Powers went out of his way to help me with my situation that was conflicted with a prodigal son. He worked very well with an excellent divorce team at our settlement conference, we did not have to go to court as a consequence of unresolved matters. I highly recommend Mr. Powers.

Very Professional Family Law Attorney
My ex wanted to take my children out of the country. To make a long story short - I wouldn't have my children anymore without Randy. I really appreciate all of his help

Thank you Mr. Powers!
Mr. Powers is one of the most amazing, caring and thoughtful lawyers I have ever met. Not only did he help me with my case but he also gave me and my family constant reassurance that he would do his best as we were going through a tough time. Mr. Powers worked vigorously on my case and did all that he could to take care of my legal needs. He worked so hard on my case we were able to get an appeal in a matter of weeks. I feel that he gave his absolute best to me and my family and I am forever grateful for all of his help. I recommend Mr. Powers to all people looking for a great family lawyer!

Malpractice Law firm
Randy Powers and Powers Family Law is the worst Family Law Firm. Randy has no idea what to do in Family Law it was like speaking with a child. In my case Randy showed up to court but talked to the judge like Randy was a child and took no notes in court and when he was to send court forms to the Defense Attorney on Separation of Property his forms were so vague and far from what was said in court it was like I hired a Moron. Randy is a THIEF and a LIAR and his law firm is not worth a penny of anyone's time, if you want to be screwed over this is a great Law firm to screw you over. Randy has damaged my life and he takes no Responsibility for his actions. All Randy wants is money so be careful. Randy Powers and Power Family Law studies Malpractice Law!!

Response from Randy Powers February 7, 2024
We won a significant amount of property on your behalf and obtained an Order of Protection against your wife at the Court hearing. You have had an outstanding balance with the Firm for 3 months which you did not pay off, and yet have continued to ask us to work on your behalf. We emailed you that if you paid off your balance and replenished your retainer we would be able to move forward on your behalf. You were happy when we left Court, and even after Court you requested we continue to pursue the divorce against your wife. However, you are now suddenly disgruntled when we told you we would not continue to work without payment so we terminated the Representation.

Relationship: Worked together on matter
"I worked together with Randy representing the Father of a toddler, in a hotly contested interstate custody matter, where the Mother absconded with the child from New Mexico to New York City and filed for divorce, custody and limited visits for the Father. Randy was a pleasure to work with and helped the Dad regain custody of his young daugther. Randy was persuasive in Court and in oral argument, in matters of strategy with both adversaries and on behalf of the client, in his written papers, and in negotiations. I was impressed with the sound guidance and patience he provided to our mutual client. The case was decided favorably for the client and made new law on interstate custody in the State of New York. Randy was a big part of this client's success."
