Biography
I represent individuals, children, and families who have suffered a serious personal injury or who have lost a loved one due to negligence, recklessness, malice, or greed. I do not represent insurance companies, corporations, or government entities.
I believe in the jury system. Juries have an opportunity to make our society safer and better. Substantial jury verdicts not only compensate the victims of negligence, but they make the guilty take responsibility for their actions.
I believe that representing my clients zealously is only part of my job. I believe that caring for my clients and listening to them is equally important. I often spend time with my clients outside the office.
I am a Board Certified Trial Lawyer. I earned an AV Preeminent Rating from Martindale-Hubbell, the highest rating Martindale-Hubbell gives. In 2011-16 the National Trial Lawyers Association named me one of the Top 100 Trial Lawyers in New Mexico. In 2014-16, I was named a Super Lawyer.
In 2014, I graduated from the Gerry Spence Trial Lawyers College. I rountinely incorporate psychodrama into my law practice.
