Being charged in a criminal case is an extremely unnerving situation to find yourself in. Brent Harris is an excellent choice for legal representation. He was great at explaining the legal process and what I should expect to happen in terms I could understand. He then went over all my options, told me what he recommended and why, and asked me how I would like to proceed. I was informed t...hat it was unlikely my case would go to trial but he would gladly represent me if it came to that. He filed a motion on my behalf that resulted in my case being dropped. My only complaint is likely more with the legal system than Brent Harris. I would occasionally not hear from his office for weeks at a time, but whenever I called my questions were answered the same day. It turns out the legal system is far slower than I expected. I was always contacted when there was a new development in my case. Brent Harris's friendly demeanor, knowledge of the legal system, and experience make him an great choice for legal representation.

Brent is an exceptional attorney (I am comparing his handling of my case with that of two other attorneys with whom I have worked in the past). He is tough when he needs to be but also one of the most compassionate people I have ever known. In a sense, Brent "gave me back my life" in a very stressf...ul situation, allowing me to become functional and get on with daily living (and even enjoy it), while he worked to uncover and understand mitigating circumstances and resolve (through a deferred prosecution) the legal issues surrounding my arrest for assault. He helped me through the most difficult time of my life to date and I am grateful beyond words. More recently I have retained Brent's services again to help with my estate planning. In this very different situation I again see his natural tendency to focus on what is best for his client, even if it is not the most lucrative path for the attorney. He is honest, very forthright, and combines professionalism with a refreshing sense of humor. I would highly recommend Brent to friends, and I already have.
