About Danielle

Learn Danielle’s areas of practice.

I practice in the areas of family law, juvenile, and adoption law. I've been working in the private field since 2018. Before private practice, I worked at the Arizona Attorney General's Office as an Assistant Attorney General and gained experience in juvenile dependency law. Prior to my employment at the Attorney General's Office, I completed an externship in a solo practitioner's law firm, clerked in Maricopa County Family Court, and was an administrative assistant in the Mesa office of the Arizona Attorney General's Office.

Aside for the legal experience, I have a variety of prior work experience that assists me now in understanding my client's needs. For example, I have previously worked in a copper mine (Asarco) as a maintenance clerk. From that experience, I learned that mines are inflexible as it relates to time off, schedules cannot be changed except during bid, and time off is scarce. I am from a small community, where several of my current cases are located. This previous work experience has assisted me in truly being able to serve the needs of this underserved area in Southern Arizona.

I attended school in various places. I graduated from an incredibly small high school in San Manuel Arizona. I attended community college with Central Arizona College. I completed my undergraduate degree at Arizona State University while I worked full time at Asarco. Then I went on to Arizona Summit Law School where I worked full time during the day in the courtroom across the street and went to school at night.

Currently, I work primarily in Tucson, Arizona. However, I've also worked in Pinal, Gila, and Maricopa County. COVID-19 has created great changes in the legal community but has also created the ability to work in various areas to assist my clients. To best serve my clients throughout this pandemic, I offer video consultation or telephonic depending on your preferences. It is a tough time for all, but I have adapted my practice to best suit the needs of my clients.

Compassionate & competent
I was suggested Danielle’s practice by facebook and took a leap of faith. From the very start she listened to my situation, understood the urgency, and walked me through what to expect. She shows compassion and empathy which is something different than I have experienced with other lawyers. Danielle was very knowledgeable regarding the processes of the Department of Child Safety and Juvenile court system. She presented my position and all the evidence in a very thorough manner. She never gave up on me and thankfully my situation is resolved now. God must have knew I needed her help and suggested that ad for her services! Eternally thankful to Danielle!

Best experience ever
Danielle CARED. She was on top of all communications and very thorough. I never had to wonder what was going on because I'd have an explanation prior to any questions I could come up with. Truly helped my children and I tremendously. Extremely thankful for her!

Very Straightforward and Accomodating
Danielle was absolutely wonderful, as you know divorce can be a very emotional and high stress event. Danielle made it a point to keep me focused on the facts when my emotions got the best of me, and helped me through more than any traditional attorney would. She went above and beyond and honestly I don’t know if my sanity would be in tact if it was not for her. She also had my children's best interests at the forefront of her priorities. Highly recommend.

Ms. Brownrigg was opposing counsel on a family law matter and has top notch litigation skills and is very adept at cross-examination. It was readily apparent that Ms. Brownrigg is very comfortable in the courtroom and has significant litigation experience. I would highly recommend Ms. Brownrigg.

Dedicated fighter
She helped me fight the biggest fight of my life. DCS was motioning to terminate my rights to my 3 children. They had said so many untrue allegations. Danielle helped me show my truth and articulate my strengths and resiliency. In the end the judge denied the severance and im reuniting with my children. Danielle she was emotionally invested and worked so hard and explained me things so i could understand everything. Danielle is a fighter. I strong recommend.

Danielle has become my knight in shining armor. She works hard to keep it fair and reasonable. I couldn't imagine where I would be with my battle if I didn't have her to help me.

A force to be reckoned with.
Ms. Brownrigg is an amazing attorney. She is competent, knowledgeable, and hardworking. She is a force to be reckoned with in the court room, and goes above and beyond for her clients. She is straight forward and diligently, always working each case with the know-how that you wouldn't typically see in an attorney who hasn't been working for 20+ years. She's respectful and kind, but does not sugar coat. She has a great working relationship with the Pima County AND Pinal County court system employees and other attorneys. If you're looking for a family law attorney or a juvenile dependency attorney who knows what she is doing AND is fair with prices and fees, Ms. Danielle Brownrigg is the way to go.

Excellent at what she does.
I have been having family issues, unfortunately. I have asked a lot of questions that I feel were dumb, and she really made it easy for me to ask them. I felt no judgement. She is extremely knowledgeable as well, she has always had an answer. Shes very trustworthy, in my opinion. The problem was resolved the very same day, thanks to her help.
