She is a former active duty Air Force JAG officer and former Deputy Pima County Attorney with over 20 years as a criminal lawyer. Janet has successfully handled hundreds of jury trials. She represents good people accused of all kinds of offenses from DUI and traffic matters to assault, drug offenses and sex offenses. I was found not guilty.
Janet Altschuler was my lawyer in a DV assault and disorderly conduct case. She told me not to just take the plea. We had a trial and she really fought for me. I was found NOT GUILTY.

She is rude and did nothing to help my fiancé she is what you call a starving lawyer. She cant get any cases but court appointed she is not a good lawyer at all. Replied last March 06, 2016This comment is not from a client. It is from someone who doesn't know how to spell or use spell checker. No one wins 100% of the time-especially criminal defense lawyers. If someone tells you they won everything-be super careful and watch them. As for rudeness? My job doesn't include cupcakes and unicorns. Sometimes you must be able to say your client's truth in a direct manner. Do you really want Polly Polite as your criminal defense lawyer?
