I retained Mr. Blackman several times when my son was young, and decided to make several stupid "decisions". Mr Blackman was very aggressive in my son's defense showing that the case(s) were overblown by the Tucson Police Department and that the so called "facts" that they produced were, at best, ina...ccurate and/or false. Mr Blackman is very involved in your case. You will receive calls, letters, emails ALL the time. You never have to guess where your case is at. I have read several other reviews posted and find them to be inaccurate with the attorney that I know. Mr. Blackman takes his (your) case very serious and if you don't follow his direction, he will let you know you are screwing up. I can see that (as my son didn't always follow through in a timely manner) some might take Mr. Blackman's counsel negatively, but he is trying to get you, the client, to do the best thing for your case. My son received a stern "do this, don't do that" talking to more than once. If you need a criminal defense attorney, Mr. Blackman is your attorney. Mr. Blackman also represented my friend (from my referral) during his divorce and was very happy with the results. I think other reviews are just blaming Mr. Blackman for their mistakes or failure to follow through. At least that is my belief due to my involvement with Mr. Blackman.

I have used Mr. Blackman twice in the past for family criminal issues. Mr. Blackman will keep you up to date by phone and mail, work diligently to uncover anything that will help your case, and give you the best result possible. His ability to "work" things out wth the other side is very benificial t...o the case. I recommned Mr. Blackman to anybody who wants an aggrssive honest attorney working on your behalf.
