Mr. Mena was represented by appointed counsel at trial and was convicted of assault with a deadly weapon. I took the case on appeal. The conviction was reversed by the Arizona Supreme Court based upo ... n an improperly siggestive hypnotic session with the alleged victim. This was a case of first impression and became the law in the United States. I was interviewed by Newsweek and Time.
