James J D Campbell

Jim Campbell is an experienced medical malpractice trial lawyer.  Jim learned the craft of medical malpractice litigation law representing physicians and hospitals throughout the State of Arizona.  He has successfully tried many lawsuits on behalf of physicians and hospitals, even when the odds were against his client.  Jim has also successfully represented many patients injured because of medical negligence, collecting over $17,000,000 on their behalf injust over six years.  

Jim’s extensive experience representing both sides of the medical malpractice world give him a very unique perspective on these challenging cases.  He is able to anticipate the opposition’s tactics and position the client’s case to meet the client’s goals. 

In addition to his work in the area of medical malpractice, Jim has extensive experience in the areas of elder abuse and nursing home neglect cases.  The key to these areas is often in the fine details of the medical records, and Jim uses his medical knowledge to discover these details to his client's advantage.

Jim is an AV rated lawyer by Martindale Hubbell, the highest rating given to lawyers reflecting an excellent reputation among his peers in legal abilities and ethics.  Jim is also been recognized as one of Arizona’s Finest Lawyers. 

Prior to starting Biaggi Kroese and Campbell, Jim worked for both large and small Arizona law firms in the areas of medical malpractice, products' liability, general negligence, and insurance bad faith.  Jim worked for O'Connor Cavanagh, a large defense firm that was recognized by Arizona Business Magazine as "The Best Firm in Arizona.”  In addition, Jim honed his craft at the MacBan Law Offices, Snell & Wilmer, and Kinerk, Schmidt and Sethi. 

Jim, who was born in Arizona, graduated from Brophy College Preparatory in Phoenix.  He earned both his undergraduate and his law degree, with honors, at the University of Arizona and married his wife, Audrey, also a longtime Arizona resident.

When he is not working on a case either at the firm or in a courtroom, Jim says his strong commitment to giving back to the community combined with a desire to spend time with his three young sons ages 13, 18, and 20 inspires him to coach in youth sports like baseball and basketball.
