Words cannot describe my gratitude to Mr. Charles Runyan of Integrity Patent Group, PLC for the outstanding work done on my second patent. It is because of Mr. Charles Runyan and his legal team that I have been granted my second patent. Years ago, I hired a patent attorney to draft and submit my fir...

Another patent scam artist taking peoples money, their office has been shut down and has not finished the patent process on my utility patent application.
Integrity Patent Group, a law firm that I currently own, is shutting down. And in our closure notice, we expressly point out that we will complete ALL work that a client has paid for before closure or if the client prefers, we will transfer the work to the sole practices of one of our patent professionals. Alternatively, we have offered to help ALL clients find different counsel if they wish. And if that is their choice, all money paid to us will be refunded. I do not know the name of this client. So, I cannot directly connect with them to see if there has been some type of communication issue. But we are continuously auditing our books and docket to make sure that there are no clients in this situation. If we were to find one, we would correct it immediately.

Charles -- was given my business via a merger. Along with filing the final phases to getting my patent approved, Charles was told to als file the "CIP"...(continuation in part). Charles did not do that on a patent that I waited 7 years for. So now he passed me off to another patent attorney (he has w...
I did make a mistake in this case. The client learned about the error from me as soon as I knew it had occurred. This case is not a case where the client didn't get a patent. The client's original patent issued less than a year after I became responsible for it. While I erroneously didn't file the CIP application, that may or may not ever harm him one way or another. If it does, I have already told the client that I will be available to do what I can to to mitigate the harm. I never offered a single excuse or said or implied that the mistake was not my fault. What the client calls "passing me off to another patent attorney" is me discussing with the client whether they would be more comfortable having a patent attorney other than me working to solve the problem. And when the client wanted that, me paying over $5000 (so far) to have a replacement for the CIP application prepared and filed. Yes, with a patent attorney that I knew, but also with a patent attorney that the client chose and engaged as counsel. Every communication with this client since I told them about my mistake has included an apology, and I have done everything possible to correct the error. Since I cannot go back in time to fix the error, I don't know what else the client expects. Since paying someone to fix the mistake as best as can currently happen and agreeing to do what I can in the future if the error someday causes problems doesn't qualify as taking responsibility in this client's mind, I am at a loss as to what would satisfy them.

Charles Runyan is an extraordinary professional with a work ethic that is second to none. His expertise and problem skills make him an invaluable asset when searching for any legal solution..I have worked with several of the top trademark and patent law firms in the country and must say that Runyan L...
"I endorse this lawyer. He has significant expertise in intellectual property matters (patent, copyright and trademark issues), which reflects his past experience as a "big firm" attorney. But he is also friendly, down to earth and easy to work with. Charles has expanded his law practice to other areas in order to better serve his Arizona clients."
"Mr. Runyan was opposing counsel on a trademark opposition filed by his client. He was pleasant, professional, and easy to work with. As a result, we were able to promptly reach an amicable resolution to the matter. I would certainly recommend Mr. Runyan to others and hope to have the opportunity to work with him again in the future."
"I endorse this lawyer's work. Mr. Runyan is very bright and obviously passionate about his work and his clients."
"Chuck was a co-worker and mentor to me while at Squire, Sanders & Dempsey, LLP. Chuck provided valuable constructive criticism of my work product and was key in developing my patent prosecution skills. Additionally, Chuck took a personal interest in my professional development as a new attorney and encouraged and supported my efforts to develop my business development skills early in my career. Chuck is a very smart, skilled attorney and a great mentor."
