Biography
Anca Iacob was born and raised in Romania. In 2002, she graduated Magna Cum Laude from Arizona State University, where she received a B.A. in History. In the spring of 2002, Anca worked as a legislative intern with the Department of Gaming. This is where she learned the legislative process and the effects of proposed laws on different people.
In 2004, Anca obtained her Juris Doctor from Florida State University College of Law. During law school, she worked as a certified legal intern with the Legal Services of North Florida and with the Children’s Advocacy Center in Tallahassee, Florida.
Immediately after law school, Anca worked as a trial attorney with the Maricopa County Public Defenders Office for three years before starting a private practice. As a Public Defender, Anca worked on many different types of serious cases such as Aggravated Assaults with a Deadly Weapon, Armed Robberies, Auto Theft, Possession of Dangerous Drugs for Sale, and Trafficking Stolen Property.
