Prior to joining the firm, Austin retired from American Airlines after twenty-two years where he spent fifteen of those years working as a software engineer. Austin is a member of the State Bar of Arizona and Minnesota. He earned a J.D. degree from Mitchell Hamline School of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota and a B.S. in Computer Engineering Technology from DeVry University.
He is fluent in Spanish and enjoys maintaining his fluency through traveling the globe to Spanish-speaking countries. He spends his free time playing soccer. He is also an avid snowboarding enthusiast.
