Refusing to refund my credit balance.

I hired Mr. Harmon to assist in my divorce case. He brought in Diana Weinert to assist. He was late to make an appearance to a time sensitive issue. Every Friday, without fail, I. was asked to make a payment - which I did. He came on board in the spring of 2024 and I did not get an invoice until ...August, 2024 long after he was removed from my case. Upon financial audit of my case I discovered I had overpaid $28,000.00. He is refusing to refund me the money. His accounting department has neglected to post several payment made by me which when this is done the credit balance should be quite evident. I have yet to hear from him on my refund despite MANY attempts to get him to review the situation. CRICKETS.

Refuses to provide a refund

I retained this firm a year ago, paid the $5,000 deposit and I had them for 1 month. They were supposed to send me monthly invoices, but I never received any. I requested a partial refund of some sort over 1 year ago, have had email exchanges with Emile, and have sent emails that continue to go un-re...sponded to. When I requested the refund for the 3rd or 4th time (a year later) and informed Emile that I had never received any invoices telling me how much money had been used with a description of the service provided it was only then that out of the blue I received an invoice that wasn't correct. Diane had stated she would not charge me for certain communications yet in the invoice I was charged. I still have never received any sort of refund for unused monies.

I couldn't have made a worse choice of attorney

Emile Harmon - or his office - lost my contract agreement with his office two or three times after I signed it ... and blamed me. Emile Harmon repeatedly failed to return phone calls after he said to get in touch with him ... and blamed his (personally competent) paraprofessional. Emile Harmon rep...eatedly told me he had physical therapists for me to go to after my injury but failed to return phone calls asking for their names. Later, he lied and told the AZ bar, where he has been reported for at least the second time, that he never said he had names of physical therapists. Emile Harmon told me that he would be able to get a demand letter for my case sent within three months. Four months later, after numerous unanswered requests to see the demand letter sent to the party being sued, he sent me the letter. It had numerous errors. I asked if we could fix it. He said we could. I asked how we could do that if it had been sent. He said it hadn't yet been sent after all. When I couldn't abide Emile Harmon's lack of professionalism any longer, I asked for my case to be transferred to another lawyer in the firm. Emile Harmon resigned my case saying, in part, that without physical therapy, my case isn't worth that much anyway. When he resigned it, he left me in a position where at least of some my medical bills have not yet been paid from my insurance (since his paraprofessional asked me to send him the release form from my insurance before I signed anything - I have no idea when she sent it out after that) and they are about to be reported to credit bureaus as unpaid. I reported his behavior to the AZ Bar, where he is currently being investigated. Update: I also engaged another attorney who, despite Emile Harmon's predictions, got me a large settlement. This attorney charged me only 29%, as opposed to Emile Harmon's ask of 40%. When I saw here that Emile Harmon had been sanctioned by the AZ Bar once, I should have paid attention and immediately engaged another attorney. This is now a decision I deeply regret.

Incredible

Emile has to be one of the most honest lawyers I have come across. He has such an incredible work ethic and truly cares about his clients. Along with his paralegal, Rebekah, they've always handled my case with the attention and care it needed. Without them, I don't know where I would be. Thank you, E...mile!

Thank You

Mr. Harmon was very aggresive when he needed to be and more importantly, he knew when to be aggresive to benefit my case. What a great change to see that there is an attorney out there who actually cares about his clients
