I trusted this attorney because he TOLD me he knew what he was doing. He told me that I was right, and that my case had merit. I asked multiple times for an explanation of WHY he thought this would go to superior court in my favor and I never received an answer. The judge ruled, I lost. Still, no...
This client was never promised a specific result. While her case was very favorable with facts ripe for appeal ultimately the judge denied the appeal. I communicated with the client by email and returned dozens of phone calls. Unfortunately in a difficult situation unfavorable rulings do happen, but the client was kept abreast of the status. Everything was filed in a timely matter. Any unecessary additional costs the client undertook were at her own decision. I am sorry the result was not more favorable but a bad result does happen as the law cannot offer a guarantee.
