Biography
I am a partner at Resnick & Louis, P.C., where I defend insureds and insurance carriers in civil litigation in Arizona and Colorado. My practice centers on motor vehicle accident, premises liability, and workers' compensation matters, along with coverage disputes.
I came to law later than most, and my background is broader than a typical insurance defense practice. I began as a Deputy District Attorney in Colorado's 4th Judicial District in Colorado Springs, where I tried more than 30 jury trials. I moved into private practice in Colorado handling criminal defense and family law, then returned to Arizona in 2015. Since then I have served as staff counsel for Liberty Mutual Insurance Company, where I represented the company through trial, and operated my own practice focused on creditor's rights, business contract disputes, and personal injury matters.
That range affects how I handle a file. Trial experience across criminal, family, and civil matters means I assess exposure early and give carriers and insureds a direct read on a case rather than an optimistic one.
