In April of 2024, my family moved to Arizona after my son was diagnosed with autism. In July of 2024, my at-the-time wife kidnapped both of my children in broad daylight and fled the state, where she then used the incredible resources & connections of her family to file a divorce suit accusing me of ...every hot button issue one could think of. Despite enduring physical, emotional and verbal abuse for several years, I was the one being accused, and my children were now thousands of miles away. In desperation, I reached out to a family law attorney who, after listening to a short summary of events, told me "there's nothing you can do. You should save your resources and use them to move or travel." Despite all the proof I offered, I could tell that she was thinking exactly what I feared most would think - that as the man being accused of everything from emotional abuse to physical violence, I would be deemed guilty from the start. My next meeting was with Robyn, and it has forever changed my life. Within minutes, Robyn was quoting case law, statues, and was possibly more angry at the children's mother than I was. I wouldn't tell you we could win if I wasn't sure." Ninety days after that consultation, after winning 3 of 3 hearings in 2 states, the State of Arizona ordered that the children be returned home. There's still a long way to go, but thanks to Robyn, my son will have the incredible resources that Arizona provides to thrive with his disability. I will get to see my daughter grow up. I will get to hold them when they sad or sick, snuggle them when they're sleepy, laugh and giggle and create memories with them - all because Robyn believed in me. She has taken so many calls, answered so many emails, worked with me through incredibly tough financial situations, and has fully and deeply invested herself in my cause and case. I cannot wait for my son & daughter to meet the incredible women who have made their return home a possibility. Robyn (and Mandy) - thank you, from the bottom of my soul. From our first meeting, I had great confidence in Robyn and her abilities. Instead of being intimidated to take on my case after two other attorneys, Robyn was excited to take on the challenge. My ex is prior military, former local and federal level law enforcement, and worked for Coconino County as ...a probation officer. Throughout our entire marriage, he abused me, our children, and other victims. Living in Coconino County, I was reluctant to hire Robyn out of Maricopa County after my experience with the first attorney in Maricopa. But, she was more present and committed to my case than I could have imagined. Robyn repeatedly drove three hours each way and showed up to my hearings in person (my local attorney never did). Representation is everything; this made a huge difference for me and for the judge. I am so grateful I was able to find and retain Robyn!!
