Years ago, at the peak of my career, I lost my hearing ( don't worry, I've got it back) and just gave up. I abandoned my practice and suffered the consequences.
Thanks to technology, I can hear again. I was re-admitted to the profession which I love whole heartedly.
I think my tribulations have made me both a better lawyer and a better person. When I lost my hearing, I thought my professional life was over.
Individuals facing criminal charges may well feel the same sense of hopelessness and despair. I'm living proof that one misfortunate event need not define your life, nor determine your future.
If you have a legal issue, a problem or a question, please call me. You'll find support, hope; and a frank, honest and caring advocate.

I had an issue with a landlord who was non-responsive to health issues due to a water/mold issue. Mr. Parks reviewed our case and met with me and the landlord on a weekend, after a lawsuit was filed, and was able to negotiate a favorable outcome so that litigation was not necessary.
