We started off in Maricopa for a DUI I had in 2019 and then I got another diagnosis of cancer and got a second DUI in Pinal county Matthew is handling both the wise we started off in Maricopa and with Covid court dat...es got pushed and pushed and finally I was ready to turn myself in to do a time for the Maricopa DUI. According to some wording I could not be taken into custody that day so court dates got pushed again and we were trying to get everything transferred to Pinal County. Pinal County was supposed to talk to Maricopa County and the Maricopa prosecutor was not very helpful and made things with court appearances worse by making the judge mad by not trying to cooperate or listen to the judge or get the wording right on things. Went back to court in Maricopa like in 2020 multiple times 2021 multiple times either my cancer diagnosis wouldn’t let me go out or it was Covid and couldn’t go to court so for a couple years this went on finally it got all switched to Pinal County. So now in 2022 we had multiple court again and I had a very helpful Judge and prosecutor at the end in Pinal County. They worked with Matthew Jefferson very well and Matthew went to bat for me for multiple things for trying to get house arrest and possibly community service or higher fines. Just not to have a death sentence going into Jail for 10 months and that’s what I was looking at was jail for 10 months. With my health history and my immune system compromised and going on almost 3 years trying to get some thing finalized every time. I would call, email or text Matthew. He would always return my calls and his paralegals have been great over the last three years. My doctor had to write multiple multiple letters regarding my health and my prognosis and things got turned over to the jail for them to make a decision. They were not wanting to take me but they did not come to a final decision it was left up to the Judge and he decided to basically due to my health due to the environment of the jail It would be in the best interest for everyone because some of the complications that it could bring with it if something happened while I was detained. The Judge decided to forgo any jail time because of the amount of time spent over the last 3+ years trying to get this finalized I still have fines I have three years of probation but I basically have time served. Matthew was so awesome he basically saved my life because if I would’ve went into jail I probably would’ve died so in my book he saved my life and let me be able to spend more time with my kids and boyfriend and family and be able to do things before I’m not here anymore. The law office was also good and making payment arrangements with me and allowing Matthew to still continue on my case even though it went past the year mark. They did not charge me anymore and they gave me a break on the second DUI. I know I have some special circumstances but I had two DUIs and Matthew Jefferson stuck by my side and was there for me all the way to the end and I can’t thank him enough and I can’t think she’ll law enough he gave me my life I still have to go based my probation conditions and the laws but he gave me a chance to be with my family and that’s the whole world to me so thank you Matthew I can never put into words what you have done for me what you have done for my family I can’t thank you enough I would recommend Schill Law to anybody and I would recommend that they pick Matthew Jefferson as their attorney there’s nobody more caring or experienced Colette Bigler

I went into my preliminary here represeting my self.... i got slaughterd by my exs lawyer judge asking did i know what i meant. That being said her lawyer had a field day with me. Right then i knew i needed a aggressive lawyer.
