Biography
I graduated from Seattle Pacific University with a degree in business and received my Juris Doctorate from Sandra Day O’Conner School of Law at Arizona State University, where I was honored with the Highest Pro Bono Distinction, National Association of Law Placement’s PSLawNet Pro Bono Publico Award, Thomas Tang scholarship for her work with commercially exploited persons, and Arizona State University Sprit of Scholar award.
My passion for helping others and community service led me to form an organization called 13-Advocacy against Sex Trafficking my first year of law school. This group assisted in the development of sex trafficking, sexual assault, and domestic violence training programs, organizing a free legal clinic at local hospitals, and worked with a number of state and non-profit agencies in Arizona.
During law school, I worked in the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office Sex Crimes Unit and also as a victim advocate for a local domestic violence agency. I also studied child abduction law and Refugee law in Valetta, Malta, as well as worked in the Philippines with an organization that works with victims of sexual and domestic violence, and child abuse. Following law school, I worked as an attorney at Arizona State University in the Halle Center for Family Justice representing victims of domestic violence, sexual violence, and child abuse. Most recently, I was employed in private practice of family and juvenile law at another law firm in Phoenix before coming to Davis Faas and Blase.
In my free time , I am an amateur photographer, love all things soccer, and spend time with my Husband, four cats, and two dogs.
