This lawyer was disciplined by a state licensing authority.
This means that the attorney's misconduct in another state, or jurisdiction, also violated the rules for practicing law in New York.
Censure means the attorney did something wrong but may still practice law. The State censures the lawyer in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior. Details of the infraction are made part of the public record.

I consulted Victor regarding my UCCJEA and divorce fraud case and though he could not take my case because it stayed in the other state, Victor was extremely knowledgable about the topic and issues affecting my case. He allowed me to tell all of my case story, took time to apply the law to my case in a way I would understand, did not rush me off the phone like most attorneys do and gave me advice until I got to an attorney in my area. He even respected my having PTSD and repeated things I did not understand so I could think about them again. So refreshing! I have dealt with numerous attorneys and after going through a few toads, the good ones start to jump out at you - Victor is a good one who really stood out as an attorney who would help you understand what is going on in your case at any given moment.

Victor know his stuff. When I had to go to court on a hearing, Victor prepared me and the case perfectly. I had never been in court before and did not know what to expect. Victor's advice and his availability during this difficult time really made me feel less anxious. In the end, you can say we won. If any of my friends or family needed a lawyer, I would have them call Victor first. Even if he couldn't represent them himself because it was out of his field, I am confident that he would get that person to someone who could help.
