Paul Melvin Omerza

Paul Omerza has established legal skills in the areas of estate planning, probate and elder Law. Before his admission to the bar, Mr. Omerza assisted an experienced practitioner in probate litigation, adult adoption, and prosecuting and defending claims of financial exploitation including dealing with these types of matters in the context of guardian and conservatorship cases.  His estate planning experience ranges from small dollar amounts to high net worth estates.

Since his admission, Mr. Omerza has focused on assisting individuals with special needs, particularly the elderly. Inhis legal practice, he has solved legal problems relating to the growing aging population by counseling on the need for guardianships and conservatorships and their structure, providing financial, health-care and mental-health-care powers of attorney, wills, and trust agreements, and assisting with fiduciary administration matters.

Before becoming a lawyer, Mr. Omerza worked for a non-profit, behavioral-health-care provider of services to emotionally-disturbed, and troubled teenagers and adults.  One of his activities was to lead survival excursions in the desert to teach important lessons of self-reliance, discipline and working with a team.  Eventually by his own efforts he was promoted to a supervisory position.

Mr. Omerza is a native of Arizona and could not think of living anywhere else.  He graduated cum laude from Arizona State University with a degree in Family and Human Development. He received his Juris Doctorate from Phoenix School of Law.  Mr. Omerza is a member of the Maricopa County Bar Association, Maricopa Elder Abuse Prevention Alliance and the Probate and Trust Law sections of the State Bar of Arizona.  He is married with three young daughters.
