John Vingelli

John Vingelli and his paralegal, Carol Jensen, performed very poorly for me in a personal injury case: 1. Multiple times I requested to be copied on all correspondence to others regarding my case. I was not. 2. I asked to review the Complaint before it was filed in court to make sure there were... no errors. My request was not honored and the Complaint was filed with errors of fact which could have hurt my case if it had gone to trial and may have hurt it during the settlement, although there is no way of knowing if the defense attorney picked up on the errors because the arbitrator kept the defense and prosecution parties in separate rooms. 3. JV put very heavy pressure on me to settle my case, even threatening to withdraw as my attorney if I did not accept $55K (he initially set damages at $160K). From my observations, it appeared he never had any intention of taking my case to court. 4. Though I felt forced to agree to my share of the settlement on February 12, 2019, I did not receive my share until July 2. And for nearly three months past the due date of April 5, JV did not repay Medicare's claim for reimbursement for medical bills it had paid, causing me to receive notice that Medicare was about to withhold all future medical benefits and that my Social Security benefits would be diverted to pay this debt to Medicare. It wasn't until I reported this to the Bar Association and a bar staff attorney investigated that Medicare and my secondary insurance company were finally reimbursed and I finally received my share of the settlement. 5. Dozens of my emails to JV and/or CJ went ignored, including several reminders that reimbursement payments to the insurance companies were overdue.

Yep....we did it again!!! John Vingelli represented me in a personal injury case of 2004. That was no easy case...but one that John fought hard on for me. We were up against a large company with a huge legal team. We won!!! John has a persona that shows he cares about you as a person and wants the be...st possible outcome for you. He gives solid advice, but he always considered my long term situation and pushed to settle the case in favor of me. I had another injury case back in 2016 in which I had no doubt who would argue my case. (I actually have John on speed dial). I was unsure if I even had a case this time...but John made one. I have to say that once again with my interest at heart we just entered a settlement for this injury. I am very pleased with his legal representation and John has become a very dear friend of mine. I hope that I don't need his service again...but would most definately consult him in the future if necessary. I highly recommend John Vingelli for any of your legal needs.
